Questions, answered in the contract’s language.

What is instant funding at Johnson Capital?

It is a funded account issued on purchase. There is no evaluation, no profit target and no phase. You trade from day one under the 8% daily and 8% trailing maximum framework.

Is this the same as a one-phase or lightning challenge?

No. Those products have targets, different drawdowns and, in some houses, different news and weekend rules. Johnson Capital only offers the instant-funding contract described on the Rules page.

What is the daily drawdown?

8%, taken from the balance at the end of the previous day (5:00 PM EST). Floating loss counts. Breach is terminal for the account.

How does trailing drawdown work?

Maximum loss is 8% of starting balance, trailing closed-balance highs until the account is +8%. At +8%, or when a payout is processed, the floor locks at the original starting balance.

Is there a consistency rule?

No. Consistency rules belong to other products. They are not part of this instant program.

When is the first payout?

14 calendar days after your first trade, then every 14 days. Minimum $50. First-payout-on-demand is not part of instant funding.

Can I use an EA?

No. EAs, bots and copy traders are prohibited on instant accounts and can close the account.

Can I hold over the weekend?

No. Positions are flattened ahead of Friday close. Overnight holding Monday to Thursday is allowed.

Can I trade news?

Not inside the 10-minute window around high-impact events (five minutes before and after). Profit inside that window is not counted. You may hold a position through the print if it was opened outside the window.

Is the fee refundable?

No. Instant funding is not an evaluation. There is no refund on first payout and no refund on breach.

What leverage do I get?

Up to 50:1 on FX, with lower caps on indices, commodities and stocks as listed in the dashboard.

Which platforms?

MT5, DXTrade and TradingView. Platform can be switched only if no trade has been placed.

What happens if I do not trade?

Sixty calendar days without a trade is an inactivity breach and closes the account.

How do I add my photo to the owner page?

On WordPress, edit The Desk page and set a featured image, or replace the portrait slot in the theme. The frame is already sized.
